China Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as JAC) was founded in 1964, and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2001 with the stock code of 600418.

JAC has been a comprehensive automaker with full-line independent brand vehicles in China, including light, medium and heavy-duty trucks, MPV, SRV, sedan, bus chassis, buses, engineering machinery, engines, gearboxes and other key components. After more than 40 years of development, JAC has achieved an annual production capacity of more than 700,000 units completed vehicle and 500,000 units engine and ranked as the top 10 in Chinese auto industry. 

In 2011, JAC has achieved more than 20 years quickly growth, and sold all kinds of vehicles approximately 470,000 units with growth of 5.4% year-on-year,among which the exports were about 70,000 units, up by 207%. In the first half year of 2012, JAC has sold all kinds of vehicles and the export products have played a very important role in the relevant market segments.



JAC invested 100 million USD in building a first class international R&D base. This investment covers 49,173 square meters and includes an R&D Center; A Passenger Cars, Heavy-Duty Trucks and Light-Duty Trucks Authentication Center, a Design Studio and owns internationally advanced test equipment such as K&C suspension performance test board and a transmission system test board. The R&D base can accommodate 3,000 members of staff at the same time and independently undertake the tasks of designing, trial-manufacturing, testing of complete vehicles and core components, with its independent R&D ranking first in China.

JAC currently owns 821 invention patents and has successfully implemented national automobile development projects. In addition, 44 R&D projects of JAC have been incorporated into the national and provincial key science and technological projects, and 55 product technologies have reached the national leading level.


JAC owns a national-level Research and Development (R&D) Center in Hefei. The company opened China’s first overseas R&D Center in Turin-Italy on June 2005, and a second one in Tokyo-Japan on October 2006.


By now, JAC has exported to South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and other regions and established good cooperation relations with more than 120 countries around the world, with hundreds of overseas 4S stores and 14 overseas KD plants. On the international market, JAC has gradually formed two successful setups of commercial vehicles and passenger cars. Their light commercial vehicles have maintained top place for sales of a Chinese brand for 13 consecutive years, and their passenger cars have seen the fastest growth and also have high sales, which have effectively enhanced the brand image of JAC and Chinese automobile products.


JAC continues to develop the international quality system and comprehensively raise the level of quality management and ensures the effective implementation of quality management standards with scientific, advanced and perfected testing equipment and methods, ensuring JAC products reach world-class standards.
